A luxury charter with WakaSailing combines a private Champagne catamaran cruise with a seafood barbecue by the beach and aquatic adventures galore.
Bali’s neighbouring island of Nusa Lembongan is blessed with the kind of white sand beaches and turquoise water you see in travel magazines. And now, you can experience its beauty with the added adventure of a luxury catamaran cruise to get there.
Setting sail from WakaSailing’s private jetty at Bali’s Benoa harbour at 9am, our 16-metre catamaran will take you and your party on a leisurely 1 hour and 40 minutes cruise over the Badung Strait before anchoring in the picturesque bay of Jungut Batu.
We’ll pick you up in a private limousine and welcome you aboard with a freshly made Belini. Then it’s time to chill out on the boat’s sundeck or lounge in one of the hammocks as the ocean breezes cool your face. A private butler will be on hand with Champagne and canapes, as well as unlimited soft drinks, during the crossing.
Once we drop anchor in Jungut Batu, you’re free to dive into the cool, clear water. Our crew will provide snorkels if you’d like to explore the teeming reefs. There’s plenty to see as the coral gardens here are home to more than 250 species of fish!
After a short transfer to WakaBeachClub, there’s time for sun-baking, relaxing in the infinity pool, or strolling along the white-sand beach. If you want to burn some energy, there are kayaks, snorkels, and stand-up paddle boards available, too.
Come lunchtime, you’ll be invited to tuck into a freshly prepared barbecue lunch overlooking the ocean. The mouth-watering buffet selection includes charcoal-grilled jumbo prawns, fish of the day, chicken satay, and seafood curry served with the chef’s selection of cold pasta salads, mixed leaf salads, breads, fried vegetable noodles and traditional nasi goreng (fried rice) dishes. Dressings and traditional Balinese sambals (chili relishes) are made fresh too.
In the afternoon, we can take you on a tour of Nusa Lembongan’s main sights, which include the mangrove forests on the north coast; the rugged limestone cove of Devil’s Tear; and Gala-Gala, a mysterious underground house. Once you’re ready, our catamaran will depart Nusa Lembongan for Bali and our butler will serve sunset cocktails as the skies turn pink.
